Continuing today's theme of "equity investing in people"

Erik and I are super into the idea because it could be incredibly beneficial for the world

How would things improve? https://twitter.com/eriktorenberg/status/1067512265077858304
(quick side note acknowledging moral ickiness:

the goal is to find some instrument that generally tracks the prestige of/amount of value created by a person

it doesn't have to be equity specifically - maybe NFTs/collectibles would be a better fit)
1. Incentivize interacting with pre-successful people

A big social behavior is to glom onto people who are already successful - VCs, execs, etc

Letting people benefit from another's rise will encourage more discovery of people with potential
2. Incentivize helping those same people

Let's say you somehow invest in a high potential person (maybe you buy one of their NFTs)

You're now incentivized to promote them on social media, give them good advice, recommend them to others, etc
3. Better price signals

Right now, our economy has incredibly long feedback cycles for individuals

Example - the monetary feedback from picking your college schedule currently takes years

It should be instantaneous
4. Incentivize the creation of new relationships https://twitter.com/benschecter/status/1277970516444233729?s=20
