As men we need to see the truth and keep that front and center in our minds without deluding ourselves about how things ACTUALLY ARE

But when communicating with those who count on us, we need to keep in mind that they need to know what THEY NEED TO KNOW to keep serving the plan
When someone asks us what we're doing to accomplish XYZ, it's not a question about what we're actually doing

If it's something meaningful that we really OWN, they don't even understand what it takes to get the job done anyway

It's a test of your leadership...
Its a request for reassurance

Were best advised to consider first what they need to hear

Usually business partners, women, employees, kids (and others who depend on our leadership), need validation, inspiration, reassurance, and maybe a detail to two to feel included, not more
The full picture, the entire vision, the MASTRE PLAN, stays with us

No one ACTUALLY cares about all that anyway. That's why we are leading the damn thing

Sure it's lonely at times, but it's also wonderful when you think of it like an inside joke with yourself...
All of that said... there are times when a partner, subordinate, or employee demonstrates they're aware of the master plan, the inside joke. They see all the angles, and can understand the music you're playing with all the different puzzle pieces...
If this person see the angles, help you play the game, and STILL defer to YOUR LEADERSHIP in all things...

then you have yourself a real business partner, a right hand man, a COO, a consigliere, or if it's a woman, congrats, you might have yourself a ride-or-die...
Either way, it's MISSION FIRST.

None of this exists if you don't have a f**king master plan
