1. Here is a taste of what the occupation looks like: I spent my day with Palestinian communities in the South Hebron Hills. Last week, the IDF notified them that a big training is going to take place on their lands. They didnt specify when, where, or which kind of training.
2. These communities passed the last week fearing the possible outcomes of the training. Will it destroy their agricultural lands? Will it scare their kids on the way to school? Will the military vehicles destroy their dirt roads even more?
3. And the communities are still waiting. Sounds of blasts are heard all around, and military vehicles are seen from afar. The invasion to their lands is imminent, and they are left waiting. This is exactly what happens when you live under a military dictatorship.
5. Your choice is taken away from you. Your ability to go to sleep calmly at night. Your realty becomes completely dependent on the will of foreign military commanders. I got to taste it for a day, they live it for 53 years.
