.. because of that (and so people can take their lunches) I am covering 4 of our “intensive intervention” students back to back, for 4 hours. Btw I HATE our program name but that’s besides the point...
Anyways. So all day I work with one student one hour, and so on and so on. This is fine, I love all of our students dearly (despite my 4+ incident reports I fill out everyday), but the problem with this is I don’t have a chance to form a solid bond with anyone one student ...
... which makes my job really difficult because they just see me coming and going and I don’t get to form the trust. So that’s sucky. BUT RIDDLE ME THIS, 4/9 main EA’s in this wing we all have medical student (myself included) who are just absent right now because of covid ...
What happens if one of our students comes back before the end of the year? The entire schedule literally falls apart. We all cover to the minute with each other, and if someone has to go back to a medical there will be no way this department can run...
I’m sitting here on my break right now thinking about this and stressing, which is frustrating because I shouldn’t be constantly stressing on my break. But also let me make this clear, the admin/teachers at our school are out of this world amazing...
I’ve said it time and time again the support we have is unbelievable, but, something has to budge with the way this system works and how it’s going this year. Everyone is running on an empty tank, and it’s tough.
