...it's hard to get this right out of the gate w/o understanding the market
• Deal flow is unpredictable -> be opportunistic and have multiple plays to run
• I've started compiling biz ideas that make more sense to build vs buy - now at 15 (2/4)

• There's no shortage of LPs, getting terms right is the art
• The biggest risk IMO isn't defaulting, but buying a stressful job that doesn't pay well that I'm stuck with

• Spend time learning investment fundamentals esp wrt to PE. Micro PE is still nascent, but it's just a spin off of PE
• Rapport building/sales + high EQ are unfair advantages
