Toxic masculinity is a hell of a preexisting condition to have during a pandemic. But Papi was finally able to see that the vaccine wasn't about him.

He alternately said coronavirus wasn't real/exaggerated/conspiracy and that he didn't need a vaccine because he has strong blood/IS optimistic/it has a chip. But my siblings and I kept pressing on him to get the vaccine, and he finally did this past Saturday in SanTana. Here's the proof:
And here's a photo of him afterward, waiting to see if the COVID vaccine would give him an allergic reaction, or turn him into a Bill Gates-controlled zombie. Neither happened. PS, check out the Jerez facemask @DuranSports and @laloalcaraz
I saw the many inequities facing Latinos during this coronavirus rollout — but I don't shy away from what creates PANDEJOS of all ethnicities. Quote from my story:
