Lyle Rapacki, reporting for Prescott eNews, says the AZ Senate has selected Phil Waldron to coordinate and oversee its election audit.

Waldron, a retired US Army colonel, rose to prominence after the election as a frequent witness for Giuliani at various election hearings, where he quickly established a track record of making wildly false claims about the 2020 election.
At the Hyatt in downtown Phoenix, he claimed Maricopa's voting machines were connected to the internet, which election officials have repeatedly denied and which isn't supported by a shred of evidence. https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/politics/elections/2020/11/30/republican-lawmakers-arizona-hold-meeting-rudy-giuliani/6468171002/
Waldron also falsely alleged that election officials don't verify the signatures on mail-in ballots. This is absolutely not true.
During a hearing in Georgia claimed that fraudulent ballots were "injected" into the vote count, but completely failed to back up that claim when pressed by lawmakers. https://www.newsweek.com/trump-campaign-witness-cant-back-claims-georgia-election-fraud-hearings-1552257
In Michigan, Waldron made a number of discredited claims. For example, one easily disproven claim he made is that some precincts had more than 120% voter turnout. https://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/politics/2020/12/04/why-8-claims-rudy-giulianis-michigan-witnesses-dont-add-up/3824210001/
