Orange teeth in beavers and red teeth in shrews is caused by having iron in their enamel to counteract wear!

Unlike reptiles, amphibians and fish- mammals SUCK & can’t replace their teeth. so mammals with tough diets gotta find a solution for not wearing through their teeth

Speaking of echinochrome staining sea otters that munch up enough pointy purple snacks get pink #teeth AND pink bones!

Arguably the opposite of colourful what about FULLY CLEAR teeth!?

Many deep sea fish try to be fully invisible by having black bodies, they accessorize by evolving fully clear teeth like this dragon fish!
