287 arrested in Moscow in connection with Navalny's hearings. Mostly, in the vicinity of the court
Diplomats from the Czech Republic, Austria, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, the United States, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Britain, Latvia and Poland and EU representatives are present at the hearing
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova writes the presence of foreign diplomats at Navalny's hearing "isn't just meddling in the internal affairs of a sovereign state, but the self-incrimination of the west's unsightly and illegal attempts to contain Russia."
The Kremlin announces Putin is not following today's hearing and says that it hopes Navalny's fate would not affect Russia's ties with Europe.

The prosecutor asks Navalny whether he “intentionally" missed 6 parole check-ins before his hospitalization [after poisoning] He says he went to all required check-ins twice per month since 2014 according to the judge’s instructions
Navalny's lawyers say that Navalny didn't hide from surveillance and that he was put on the wanted list illegally, adding that his whereabouts were always known to the FSIN.
He said, Russia was obliged to comply with the decisions of the European HR court and pay compensation in the Yves Rocher case, but did not overturn the verdict. The decision of the European Courts stated that the proceedings were fabricated and showed arbitrariness
Navalny said that "this fabricated criminal case was regularly used to prevent his political activities."

354 people arrested in Moscow by now. Alexei Navalny has been brought back into the courtroom. Navalny’s lawyers, his wife, Yulia, and journalists have returned to the courtroom. A verdict is expected shortly.

The judge is back in the courtroom.
Judge Repnikova reads the document, says that she has considered the suggestion to change the suspended sentence for the real prison sentence and lists the rules of the law.

The judge notes that the prosecutor asked to send Navalny to the colony.
Waiting to hear which penal colony. The prosecutor's office asked for 3.5 years in a general regime colony and asked to take into account the length of stay under house arrest.
Let me sum it up: Putin just put his main opponent to prison for 3.5 years after failing to poison him. 5,000 Russians arrested over the weekend for protesting this injustice, over 300 in Moscow today. Police stations are full. Detained are driven around in police vans w/o food,
water, toilets, standing up. Major cities are occupied by riot police, police, Putin's national guards. All opposition leaders are in jail or under house arrest. Arrests continue. Demand sanctions on Putin and his cronies. The US, EU, and UK must take an action. 
I will be now finishing an article w/all of the above but will update if there is more news. Please RT. The world must know that Putin is a murderer and that Russia has lost all semblance to a civilized state. As I write, I grieve. I left it many years ago but my heart bleeds.
