Absolutely fucking NO ONE gets to tell you how to grieve and process. Any attempt at doing so is gaslighting and victim shaming (2)
Too many times we've seen abusers and their supporters attempt to shut victims up by telling them it "wasn't that bad" and you're "remembering it wrong". Also that it "happened and its over and its time to move on" (3)
Its nothing but a tactic to protect abusers to allow their acts to continue under the shadow of silence
Just because YOU don't know someone as an abuser doesn't mean they aren't one. Abusers do not make their intentions known, or they wouldn't have victims to lure in and groom
