How I feel about the last few weeks of news regarding UW athletics (a thread).

In the wake of PK leaving to join Sark at Texas:
Trying to maintain optimism about hiring a new DC:
The two week wait with absolutely no news:
Meanwhile, watching men’s and women’s hoops thumb wrestle Cal for last place in the Pac12
And listen our athletic director try to do damage control while overseeing a historically poor time for UW
News breaks that at long last, we have a new DC!
Then we find out it’s Bob Gregory
And Jimmy Lake tells fans to trust him, he’s got it taken care of
Husky fans telling each other to “give it time”
Meanwhile, many Dawg fans remember what “giving it time” got us in 2008
We just want what’s best for UW
So maybe we should just care less?
But hey. At least the UW President is on the committee to find a new conference commissioner!
