I know many of you are curious about my process so, most days I write before work, and after work. Some days just one or the other depending on life. I can typically write 2-3k words in an hour. I'm a plotter, so when I start a book I've already done my research
and broken down each chapter into the high level plot points I need to hit. Most red herrings I know about to start, but some get added as I write. Same with evidence that appears in each book.
I edit up, so chances are this book will end up somewhere between 80-90k.
