One day, a gentleman was walking through an elephant camp.

He saw that the elephants were neither being held by chains nor were kept in cages.

All that was keeping them from escaping was a small rope tied to one of their legs.
As he gazed at the elephants, he was totally confused as to why they weren't using their strength and escaping the camp.

They could have easily done so. But they didn't even try.

Curious to know the answer to this puzzle, he asked a trainer standing nearby.
The trainer replied:
The only reason that the elephants weren’t breaking free

and escaping from the camp was that

over time they adopted the belief that it just wasn’t possible.

None of them ever questioned that limiting belief.
Moral of the story:

No matter how much the world tries to hold you back,

always continue with the belief that what you want to achieve is possible.

Believing you can become successful is the most important step in actually achieving it.
