3. In September, @Kroger announced it would spend $1 billion in stock buybacks. This will increase the stock price in the short term, increasing compensation for corporate executive that are paid in stock grants and options. https://popular.info/p/an-outbreak-of-greed
4. On Friday, @Kroger announced a new 18 cents/share dividend, which will transfer about $147 million to investors (and also enhance its stock price).
