$btc wasn't the first cryptocurrency but it was the first to solve some major issues and gain wide spread traction.

It was a monumental moment and is enshrined in history, therefore elevating it's value over everything that came after it.

#Hashmasks

Imagine a new industry being born that was fairly launched because anyone could buy it without any advantages.

Everyone could participate and distribution of high value items were fairly assigned.

This is going to usher in a new wave of copy cat collections.

But everyone is going to remember @TheHashmasks was the first to pull NFTs together and sell it as once cohesive value package with deeply intricate value on multiple fronts.

At first people will think some aren't worth much in comparison to other hashys.

Just like most collectibles people undervalue the effect time has on collectibles.

If I'm right and this collection marks a huge moment in time for this blossoming NFT industry. We are going to eventually value these as extremely scarce and a privilege to own.

It won't matter which one you have. It will be sought after just because it's part of the collection.

Any one recall casascious coins? These were physical coins embedded with bitcoin. They are now worth way more than the bitcoin stored in them.

Having 1 is a privilege.

One only needs to look to see how wide spread hashmask has gone on crypto Twitter and you can see it is going to have lasting effects.

When copies eventually come out, the first will always be held as more valuable.

One over looked benefit of digital art that is overlooked is that in the future there will be services that allow you to use your NFT as collateral for loans

This allows you to tap into the value and use it unlike real art which is difficult to value and hard to find financing

I think #Hashmasks will eventually reach ridiculous valuations of $20k+ even for the most common ones.

Probably within the next year to two years.

There will be many imitations but they won't be able to replicate the grassroots launch similar to how $btc launched.

The cat is out of the bag now. Similar to how a crypto currency launched similar to $btc will have tons of speculators, this effect will happen on the next hashmasks clone at higher prices as those that missed this one will be trying to satiete their fomo from hashmasks

I don't expect hashmasks to go up in value over night, but I do see the future as being extremely bright for this collection.

As more massive transactions occur, the media will help propel #Hashmasks into a collectible for only the rich, while normies gawk at the "idiots"

Similar to how no-coiners look at people deep in crypto. Just in this case the normies will be no-nft'ers or regular crypto people that just don't get it.

Not saying all NFTs will achieve this status similar to how not all coins achieve greatness.

But I'm willing to bet that the first that blew open this industry is going to eventually be a highly sought after collectible worth more money than you guys can possibly imagine.
