Fab news today and another small but big step for Eco Park. The EFL have approved the move to the new home for @FGRFC_Official . One of the last things on their check list was the opinion of our local MP - they wouldn’t tell us what that was, though we suspect we know.
At least they got a response, unlike many constituents.......🙂. Days after being elected Siobhan Baillie (our new MP) moved to halt Eco Park by asking her friend Robert Jenrick (Housing Minister) to intervene.
This is the guy that admitted to acting illegally when granting planning permission against official advice to Richard Desmond, just hours before a new regulation took effect - in an attempt to save him £30m that would otherwise have been paid to one of London’s poorest Boroughs.
