I have to look at this skyline of tat every morning out of my bedroom window and I want everyone involved to be punished https://twitter.com/entschwindet/status/1356521960365260804
as @piercepenniless says, everyone said this would happen, and yet none of the lessons have been learned, and the 'we'll do something social by squeezing a bit out of the developers' is still the horizon for London Labour, and it's useful to be able to explain what that means
what it means is: looking at an unused swimming pool in the air, in a shitty single aspect flat which costs £800,000 in a shared ownership boondoggle
the (absolutely gross) Tory leaders of Wandsworth at least agreed to speak to the Guardian, something the Labour leaders of Lambeth couldn't be arsed to do; worth following @SaveCressingham at the moment to see what they are arsed to do
that is, demolishing a chunk of one of the best-loved housing estates in London in the teeth of massive opposition from its residents for....some "affordable" and "shared ownership" housing "cross-funded" by market sale!! excellent work all round thanks glad we have you here
