Digital health passports: there has been much talk about these during the #Covid19 pandemic as a means of certifying who has been vaccinated.
While there are benefits, there are unquestionable privacy, legal and ethical concerns.

For ex, if your movement is restricted based on a digi health passport, then what will happen to those who are unable to get the vaccine, due to lack of availability or cost?
This creates a distinction between people and could impact upon peopleâs freedoms.

Data privacy: this is crucial. How do we ensure that data and digital identities are not misused?
Handing over data brings numerous risks, particularly in sensitive contexts. Need to avoid âdual useâ of data further down the line.

It seems clear to me that there is a growing awareness of digital risks â much more so than when we first started on this journey.
If approached properly, we can navigate those risks so that the solution works for all.
