This is such a powderpuff piece of writing that doesn't remotely focus on the situation #htafc are in in regards to squad quality or depth or the promises to be judged after transfer windows.

Somehow #htafc have got away with several failures in recruitment yet again around an angle of protecting the club for the future. This is a nonsense given we've shifted high earners, some for good fees and still are receiving parachute payments (albeit slightly reduced).
Why so many are buying into this discourse is mind boggling. And those like me who want to see sensible investment will be painted as asking for the world, when in reality we just want a squad to compete, so the #htafc legacy of the Premier League isn't a return to League One.
