omg all of you are like abolition now until you actually confront someone who you think deserves to be the object of state violence
i hate to break it to people who haven't actually engaged in extensive relationships with people on the inside in a sustained way but being incarcerated is not a moral category
if you believe that incarceration is not a relationship that should exist in this world then your principles about that may in fact be tested when you reckon w the fact that many incarcerated people have done significant harm. they still shouldn't live in a cage
free them all doesn't mean that people on the inside are innocent, it doesn't mean that we only advocate for them when they're "non-violent offenders," it doesn't mean that the wrong people are being arrested and punished, it means free THEM ALL
