I don't personally know @lizmwalters but her first leadership decisions are incomprehensible & inexcusable.
At best, she is in way over her head
At worse, I don't know but it's really bad.
Her chief job is messaging, this is her first attempt is a failure on every level

She fired people with no severance and no replacements
It's so engaging. She admits she has no plan in place but in the next couple of months she'll get on it.

Sam Malendez ran the Main Street Program which recruited and trained candidates for offices up and down the ballot. He trained some great candidates and was always available to us candidates

He was solving the biggest problem Ohio Dems have..
He was directly building our bench.
He was fired with no severance.
Now we have no one doing that critical work and no program to train candidates.
It's inexcusable to treat him and us that way

I wasn't kidding when I said earlier that I couldn't say ODP was in the redistricting fight. I don't know that they are, but I know Liz let our election lawyer today Gretchen Bennett.

Honestly, Liz's bloodbath without a plan reads like getting rid of the old guard to instill new one with particular loyalties, and not necessarily to the organizational mission.
There is too damn much to do to deal with palace intrigue layered on top.

I have literally given blood, sweat, and tears to its mission
