Codependency is one of the unwritten doctrines of the church. Good Mormons are codependent and have no boundaries because they are taught that having boundaries is bad, because the church needs to violate them to do what it does

You'd like to get some fucking sleep in high school? Nope, can't do that. You've got seminary from 5:45 - 6:30 AM. God will bless you for your sacrifices
The entire goddamn religion is based on not saying "no." Who gets baptized? People who won't say no to the missionaries who keep asking to talk to them
You think church/general conference/seminary/mutual/stake dances are boring? Sorry, you aren't allowed to have that opinion. It's not about what is said it's about listening to the spirit. So if you're bored it's your fault
