The Fellowship of the Ring as Girl Scout Cookies: a thread
Toffee-Tastic: Frodo Baggins
Rich, buttery and flawed, this cookie falls apart at the slightest provocation, but only then does it reveal its tough toffee interior. Could never carry the brand alone.
Tag-a-Long: Samwise Gamgee
The thiccest cookie in the fellowship, the Tag-A-Long's sweet coating gives way to a crunchy, salty core. Whatever your snacking journey, this cookie will get you there.
Lemonade: Pippin Took
This cookie is just happy to be included. Its classic, dependable sweet side is in direct conflict with its naughty, adventurous tart side. Almost indistinguishable from Lemon-Ups.
Lemon-Up: Merry Brandybuck
Almost indistinguishable from Lemonades, apart from its explicit motivation and boasting.
Do-Si-Do: Legolas Greenleaf
Among the first in existence, this blonde cookie is never seen without its flowing lattice-work. Earthy and strong on the outside. Smooth and rich on the inside. Will never expire.
S'more: Gimli son of Gloin
Indulgent, messy, and proudly geometric. Skews in favor of crunch over gooey sweetness. Could not be more different from a Do-Si-Do.
Trefoil: Gandalf the Grey
A cookie older than time that aided in the shaping of the Girl Scouts, and carries their ancient symbol upon it. Celebrated and reviled. Always comes back.
Thin Mint: Aragorn II Elessar
The once and future king of the Girl Scout cookies, the Thin Mint has gone by many names, but is undeniably the best mint cookie on the market. Thrives in climates warm and frozen. Smooth, cool, and irresistible.
Samoa: Boromir of Gondor
Possibly the most divisive cookie of the Fellowship, but easily the most complex. A coarse and savory coating gives way to a rich, candied underlayer -- which gives way still to a thick but crumbly core. One does not simply order a single box.
@girlscouts Happy to support the troops any way that I can 🍪⭕️
