Since 2015 we’ve learnt how all those foundations were total bunk:
1) Under Trump the USA singlehandedly resurrected the sanctions regime.
2) Israel’s Mossad extracted Iran’s atomic archive from Tehran, exposing the truth to the world.

Returning to the JCPOA now, is to lie to yourself about its efficacy.
All the JCPOA gives is ‘time’, but time equals more resources for Iran, and a greater and more protected nuclear program.
