Throughout my career, people have often commented that I must have a "cryogenic chamber" as I'm consistently able to bring a high level of energy & excitement to the job each day. Truth is, having energy & enthusiasm is the output of being intentional about your life (a thread):
1/ To wake up with energy, passion @ curiosity for how the day will unfold consistently, you need:
2/ Your Health - to feel good about yourself, you need to "feel" good inside. Take care of yourself and don't sweep health issues under the rug. You can't be your best self if health setbacks are dragging you down.
3/ Financial confidence: the more you understand your personal cash runway and monthly "burn", the less "worry" or stress you'll carry
4/ You need to "enjoy" what you are doing professionally or find fulfillment, entertainment, or excitement in it in some way. If you don't have that, make changes until you do - you deserve it!
5/ Set goals around what you want to accomplish medium/long term and hold yourself accountable (but don't be hard on yourself). There's a difference between holding yourself accountable and letting yourself off the hook.
6/ Invest time in creating meaningful social and family interactions. This includes being loved, helping others fulfill their potential, being on the same page as your partner, and making the most of time with family and friends
7/ To recap, if you want to bring a high level of energy to your job each day:
- Prioritize your health
- Save
& build financial confidence
- Do something you love doing
- Set goals on what you want to achieve in the future
- Surround yourself w/ ppl who love you
