But it is indeed a disability and because it is a disability, you get legal protections for it. It does impact everyday life and I see that people posting this are on the cusp of understanding the disability social model but just missing it.
Stop fighting on whether it’s a positive or a negative, that’s not what this tweets about. Disability can be both positive and negative, it’s how a person experiences the disability. The point is that disability isn’t a dirty word and isn’t inherently bad.
