7 Questions for my fellow Igbo Elite, at home & in diaspora:
I.
Why are some of you puffing up ka ndi mmanya na egbu
on these pandering and patronizing takes on how great Ndigbo are doing all across the globe, when our region does not reflect this greatness in its leadership?

II.
Why are we so disconnected from the cries of youth across Alaigbo on the existential threats and barriers they face? Issues of unemployment, police brutality, extortion & occupation in Alaigbo, army massacres of our youth from Orlu to Aba, Emene etc. Why are we so cowardly?

III.
Why are we silent when we encounter our fellow socio-political elite who are occupying positions of leadership and doing a shoddy job of it. E.g on the issue of insecurity, why is there no cohesive mandate/strategy by Ndigbo to address this as is being done in the S-West?

Why are we in denial about how our collective apathy/disconnect created the dangerous leadership vacuum in Alaigbo where our youth are forced to opt for self defence & create rogue security agencies not backed by law, because our Governors and FG simply failed their #1 Role?

Why do some of you tie your validation to people pointing out that Ndigbo should be "accepted" or "allowed to be president." How low an ambition this is for a people that once had greats like Dr. M.I Okpara/Sam Mbakwe etc! We look to the "centre" & ignore the rot in Alaigbo!

Dear Ndigbo Elite,
Do you need to be President in order to transform Alaigbo? To invest in urban planning WASH? Support and build more industries like Innoson? Build world class public schools/health facilities? Build modern State Roads, & concession Rail networks/Airports?

I keep asking umunne m to explain to me clearly, the great gains of this fixation on being "president." To explain to me why in 2021, Enugu, the Capital of former Eastern Region lacks basic WATER? Why most of our 40+ public libraries are dilapidated? Same with schools/PHCs?

I am still firmly of the opinion that having 5 collaborative, enlightened, exposed, visionary, competent & ethical South East Governors beats having a "President of Igbo Extraction."
