When we looked at where evictions were happening, roughly half were taking place in Contra Costa and Santa Clara counties, with clusters in Antioch, San Jose, and Vallejo.
It also revealed racial and economic disparities.

Neighborhoods with more evictions had higher rates of poverty and rent burden. And Black renters were more than 2x as likely to be evicted than white renters.
