In the Holocaust Memorial Day debate in Parliament, I spoke about contemporary antisemitic threats, including Hungary's Prime Minister, Viktor Orbán.

I've now received an angry letter from the Hungarian ambassador, asking for details.

Here's my reply & a thread on the details:
5. The editor of the Holocaust Remembrance Project on Hungary: 'State-appointed “historians” have relativized the horrors of the Holocaust, and often depict their own people as victims of what they say was Jewish-supported communism.' https://www.politico.eu/article/viktor-orban-anti-semitism-problem-hungary-jews/
6. Orbán's antisemitism is intimately tied to his racist targeting of migrants.

As I said in my Holocaust Memorial Day speech, none of us are safe until all of us are safe. We must find safety in solidarity against the bigots. https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/6/22/17493070/hungary-stop-soros-orban
