The one thing that sometimes get's overlooked when watching threads.. What's fixable? from a movement standpoint or just a play where the technique is bad. And then obviously how the skillset translates to the league.. what challenges the player might have at the next level
First play of the game. I think dbs (or receivers) can set the tone early on from a physical/mindset standpoint. Great job defeating the block and making the play. You can tell he has an aggressive mindset. Good tone setter.
Sometimes the really long corners have bad feet. Really just longer movements so seeing this rep early I got a little worried but bad feet from press were good. Just a not so good rep here.
This was good. Nice pedal. stays square. Good read step. Shoulders over knees over toes. Good stance/posture. Off coverage typically a little tougher for long corners. Typically slower click n close due longer movements. Being patient helps with that.
2 ways to look at this. From a coaching standpoint and from an evaluation standpoint. As a coach I'm upset lol. As an evaluator I liked everything I saw up until the catch point. Maybe slightly off balanced. But from an off coverage ability standpoint.. solid rep. Just finish
A good amount of plays that tested his movement skills. High low concept. Good job opening up to sink under the high... Good anticipation and hips/feet to flip and close. Good tackle forcing 4th down. Good hips/feet.. fluid
Hips/feet again... solid fluid mover. Those are typically my main concerns when a corner is longer but I think so far he moves well...
Gotta take a break. Will return shortly lol
Lets finish this..
Here we go. Back in a pedal. Again, it looks good. Slight pause at the top but that's nitpicking. Run his arms a little more and that'll eliminate that. But overall solid rep
Good rep here. Feather technique. Stays square and gets hands on. Doesn't get too far upfield shoulder so the receiver has to work back through him and then again.. good feet and hips. Fluid movement. Doesn't get stuck or pause or anything. Moves well.
Not sure if it's an inverted coverage here. But I will say.. I'd prefer he play this more square in his pedal. Especially if he has a half. Would allow him to see everything in front of him and break in any direction. That's a coaching point though, not an ability point.
Great job here on the double move. Good feet and change of direction. Get's in phase and plays chest to chest. Was a little aggressive at the top but no flag. Main take away from this rep is good movement skills in space. That's what matters most here.
At first I was like why is he lunging? Why lunge? Thought his play the LOS had been good/consistent. And then i See the field safety bail late. Might be cover 2 which would allow him to be more aggressive at the LOS. Great job on containment! Physical
Good job with the read step. Sees the receiver isn't pushing vert so he slow plays it. Now make the tackle. Could come down more under control. Tackling hasn't been an issue though so from an evaluation standpoint this isn't consistent.... yet..
High low'd him. I tell the guys I coach/ train, Show the picture the QB wants to see. He's reading the CB. Show you are down and anticipate the hole shot throw. Really good throw high and away... Some would rather him show he's back and rally down. That's definitely safer.
Looks like cover 2. Ideally you don't want the receiver to get outside. Longer run for the safety. Also being outside allows you to get hands on and read keys. Would have been able to sink more aggressively. That's a coaching point though. Not an ability eval
Last clip. The space is created but he does a great job not creating more space. Dictates the space and get hands on. Reads receiver down well.. that was good stuff..
Overall this was a fun watch. I learned more about who he is from a movement/ability standpoint from 1 film.. than I have from Surtain watching like 6 games lol. I had a chance to see him in pretty much every situation.. I'll give my evaluation/comp next.
Overview:
Long aggressive cb with good movement skills. Typically a corner of his size isn't as fluid. Has good enough feet/hips/COD resulting in him being as fluid as possible w/size. Plays off as well as he plays press. Don't see speed concerns yet but will watch more of him.

Comp: Ahkello Witherspoon.
I thought Spoon coming out had rare movement skills for a 6'3" corner. Good feet. Fluid. Transitions well. See the same with St Juste. I see a more natural aggressive mindset from St Juste than I did with Spoon but similar build/movement ability.
