WHY ITS WRONG TO COMPARE DNF TO SEPTIPLIER & DAN AND PHIL.

SEPTIPLIER: they had said multiple times that shipping MADE THEM UNCOMFORTABLE. markiplier was also in a relationship. this is very obviously different than dnf, because both dream and george are completely fine with shipping.

DAN & PHIL: dan and phil are both mlm, and constantly got outed, even by their friend (at the time) shane dawson who made a CONSPIRACY VIDEO on their sexuality. they were both closeted and wanted to keep a private life. dnf are two CISHET MEN.

i could go on and on about how harmful it is to compare an actual mlm relationship to a platonic one. their struggles are so completely different!!!!

comparing dnf to any of these people is just insanely wrong. even comparing the fandoms is a bit iffy because it is insanely different, and both septiplier & dan and phil had very traumatic experiences, where as dnf isn’t and more than likely won’t.

obviously there are similarities in the fandom, such as people “speculating” or “theorizing” dream and george’s sexuality, just like people did with dan and phil, but it is still so insanely different because dream and george have said so many times that THEY ARE CISHET.

dream and george are OKAY with shipping. dream and george are OKAY with nsfw mention. dream and george are OKAY with fanart, fanfics, etc. SEPTIPLIER & DAN AND PHIL WERE NOT. it’s so incredibly different, and it’s very ignorant to compare the three men’s relationships.
