2. Republican and Democratic lawmakers tell the WSJ that they will not help corporations water down or kill progressive legislation unless the money starts flowing again!
3. Republican members of Congress are considering banning corporate lobbyists from their offices, presumably unless they start writing checks again
4. The article describes blatant corruption. Members of Congress are not supposed to KILL PROGRESSIVE LEGISLATION in exchange for CORPORATE PAC MONEY but that's exactly what they are describing in this article.
5. The amazing part is, this kind of corruption is so common that people feel comfortable admitting it to a reporter. Yes, they are anonymous. But it shows a lack of shame.
