Why Big Boi is undoubtedly one of my favorite rappers to ever exist A THREAD:

Before we begin I do not want to make it seem like one is better than the other; like the man said himself they’re equals one would not exist without the other.
First off you cannot mention Big Boi without talking about OutKast being one of the most consistently fantastic hip hop duos in existence
I can’t talk about his career with OutKast without mentioning one of the best verses in all of the Kast albums. Everything about this verse is absolutely incredible and perfectly showcases his undeniable skill
In addition to that, he held his own coming after one of the greatest verses in all of hip hop. Kept the energy and didn’t mess up the flow of the song. Perfection.
I could go on and on about how he more than held his weight alongside Andre, but let’s focus on him first showcasing his competence as a solo act. In this project he more than proved that he’s capable of creating an amazing solo album, even creating one of Kast’s biggest songs.
Speaking of Big Boi as a solo act, he has had a great career outside of OutKast. One of said albums being one of the best projects from the last decade imo.
I want to highlight this album being one of my favorite hip hop albums ever also having some of the best verses when even compared to OutKast songs
I wanna also highlight this song in particular being my personal favorite Big Boi verse and wonderfully showcasing his top tier flow. Would be one of the best verses in all of OutKast without a doubt.

Now let me bring some attention to a top 3 OutKast verse. This man absolutely DESTROYED this song and I honestly only listen to it so I can hear his part. The flow, cadence, and lyrics was all extra fire I can’t get enough of it
Big Boi literally has never disappointed on a song and he is an undeniable legend and is without a doubt on par with his partner. Neither Kast member has had a bad verse and they performed equally for the entirety of their career.
End of thread. You owe it to yourself to check out Big Boi’s solo work it’s great. It’s a shame that he’s so slept on in this app but that needs to change. Happy birthday to a certified goat!
