It's worth juxtaposing this with that former Q guy who came on CNN and apologized for thinking Anderson Cooper eats babies.

The lunatic fringe of Q is strategically necessary. https://twitter.com/quackocracy/status/1356246361801297920
One of the things QAnon formed around was the fear of sexual predator elites. That's real! Getting to be a sexual predator is one of the main reasons to aspire to the elite -- that's pretty much a human universal.
And because that motivation is so common, and so hated by the commoners, one must expect a decentralized code of Omerta to emerge, from self-interest and favor-trading, to cover it up. Not a "real" conspiracy, necessarily, though sex cults are a thing.
There's a huge gap between what can be suspected and what can be proven, though. Many are suspected, few are proven.

Enter the cannibal theory.
QAnon is a pack of cringe ninnies organized around a set of critical concerns, inflamed by a huge amount of nonsense and paredolia. A group like that is *extremely useful*. All you have to do is wind it up, pick out the craziest, and hold them up for mockery.
The legitimate core concerns are now tainted by their new representatives. Hahahaha Comet Pizza hahaha baby eaters hahaha stupid conspiracy theories, and now back to a CNN special presentation on Russian agents in the White House!
