The hate is coming from inside the uniform. It gets validated in some veterans. But everyone loves to pretend BIPOC veterans don't exist when we bring up the bigotry. Treason Toupee didn't create a cult. Didn't radicalize anyone. He just gave the cult a front man.
And let's really keep it đź’Ż. The white vets who are not drinking hate also tried to warn people. But no one wants their noble sacrifice myths about military service punctured. So America chose to ignore 30 years of warning signs. Again. But McVeigh wasn't a solo act.
