No new voucher expansion in AZ please.

Did you know Arizona (1997) passed a tax-credit scholarship program allows taxpayers to receive income tax credits for their donations to nonprofit organizations that provide school scholarships to K–12 students.

1/
Certified School Tuition Organizations (CSTO) which provide scholarships to students enrolled in Arizona private schools.  Credits are available for donations made by individual taxpayers and for donations made by corporate taxpayers.

2/
This has become a big boost to the AZ Private Schools, who can align/partner with these CSTO’s to ensure payment of a higher tuition rate.
Private could get Voucher money, and tax deferred donations money...

AZ already funneled millions of taxpayer $ into private this way

I was once told by a free market business man, when discussing Solar Panel subsidies, that “any business that can’t stand on its own without government subsidies, doesn’t deserve to be in business”

I guess in AZ, that doesn’t apply to Private Schools...
