We’re partnering with @eappiukireland this month to promote our work - helping people to establish twinning and friendship links with Palestine. But what exactly is twinning and friendship?

Twinning and friendship links bring groups or communities from the UK together with similar groups or communities in Palestine. They range from official town twinning links, to informal social groups with shared hobbies and interests.

Friendship and twinning links help to show support, solidarity and appreciation of Palestine, its people and culture. Such links promote human connections and friendships between people from all walks of life and encourage learning, sharing and exchange of ideas and experiences.

They enable the stories of real people who are affected by the Israeli occupation to be heard internationally and provide us with an understanding of the challenges Palestinians face, so that we can advocate for justice.
