Compare Ryan Knight’s Twitter to, say, Bree Newsome’s Twitter. Just go look at the difference. If you’re struggling to understand my point go compare their Twitter accounts.

Go on. And then try to convince me Ryan actually cares about helping people as opposed to shitposting.

Even if you don’t agree with Bree. Even if she’s more radical than you. It’s obvious she believes in what she’s tweeting. She wants a better world for marginalized people. She’s also smart and puts together informative threads on a daily basis.

Oh and he also finds people who are Biden enthusiasts and quote tweets with snarky comments thus encouraging harsssment of people, usually women, who don’t deserve it.

If you want people to move left, you don’t do it with snark and memes. You do it by making your case for the leftist politics you believe in. When you can’t do that because you don’t have the range, you just tweet bitchy nonsense for your audience.

At the end of the day, you may not like Democrats generally, but there are more progressive MOC now that are actually trying to work for progressive policy than there ever has been.
