Many years ago I said on air that I was “ugh sick of these kids” (meaning my own) and laughed. Boss at the time called me in to chide me about saying that. I could be offending other moms. And I was admitting to not loving parenthood every waking moment of my life. (1)

Told me to stop. I was like... um.. actual mother of 4 actual children so maybe I know more about this than you and also I am just giving my honest pov at that moment which some might find refreshing and transparent.
But I wanted to keep that job so i stopped. (2).

Anyway. I think people prefer to have sone transparency on where people stand.
