Designers, if you want the largest potential pool of playtesters, please make your prototypes colorblind friendly. I WANT to play your game and give feedback, but I legit can't. I've had to pass on so many playtests because of this
This is even more important in digital playtests because everything takes longer. In person, I can maybe struggle through by asking other players clarifying questions (is this light blue or pink?), but those questions slow the already agonizing pace of playing in TTS even more.
Also, if your current proto isn't colorblind friendly, that's cool, just consider including a short colorblindness warning in your proto description so I don't take up a table spot of someone better equipped to give you feedback.
This is not an angry rant. This just happens every proto convention I go to and designers feel so guilty when I apologize halfway into the teach and explain why I'm going to struggle to play. It's not on people's radar, so I just wanted to put it there.
