Another childhood friend passed away this weekend. He's the 7th of a group of us from the same place that would play football. He "died peacefully in his sleep" Maybe I'm being dramatic but I just don't think that can be normal at 36?
We're still taking steps out of the Troubles in Northern Ireland. PTSD is basically a given for anyone over 30, and the state of the economy means under 30's are hit just as hard. Schools are under funded, estates are run-down, benefits are under threat, and job losses are rising
How can we ever move forward when all we see the "leadership" of the two main political parties out-do each other is sectarian point scoring? Pandering to idiots who'd rather play pretend soldier and plant bombs under cars than let people live in peace.
I know there are some great people working hard to change things through community work and in Stormont, but while Sinn Fein and the DUP are in charge I can't see anything change. A friend of mine died and I'm so just fucking angry.
