Like many others, I have been struck by the power of @russelldavies63 new show #ItsASin, a masterpiece that shines a light on LGBT+ history that many people aren't fully aware of. (2/7)

This is why LGBT+ history matters and should be celebrated. Here are three examples of people and events related to transport.

1. Enid Marx - designed the seat fabric for trains and buses. https://historicengland.org.uk/research/inclusive-heritage/lgbtq-heritage-project/workplaces-and-creativity/creative-lesbians-and-gay-men/ (credit: @ltmuseum) (4/7)
2. The Out and Proud Special - a charter train from Manchester to London in 1988, helping people get to the national demonstration against Section 28. (credit: @archivesplus) (5/7)
This month is a time for everyone to learn more about LGBT+ history - and celebrate it too!

We'll doing that within RDG and I know other parts of the railway will be too, including @NRArchway. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
