Similarly, the Ministry of Women and Child Development (the nodal ministry for children’s issues), received 20.05 per cent reduced allocations (BE) in 2021-22 Union Budget as against 2020-21.

In the current Union Budget 2021-22, the Ministry has received a total outlay of Rrs. 20400.60 Crores against the absolute allocation of Rs. 25516.41 Crores in 2020-21 Union Budget.
