Breaking! WA Environment Minister @DawsoMLC signed off environmental approvals for several contentious projects today without an official announcement while WA focusses on COVID-19. Approvals put gas profits ahead of climate & jobs. #wapol 1/3

The approvals have been posted on the Environmental Protection Authority website with no media statements from the Minister, and just before the election caretaker mode starts, during which time major ministerial decisions cannot be made. 2/3
These approvals will deny clean energy jobs for West Australians while significantly increasing carbon pollution both here and overseas. In both cases, renewable energy options could have been developed instead of gas, and this would have delivered many more jobs for WA. 3/3
