KBFC started in the same formation and arguably our best 11 in the playing field. With Rahul, Jeakson and Juande coming back into the team. And it shown in the first half as we completely dominated ATKMB. Murray upfront, Hooper SS and Rahul, Sahal on flanks. 1/15
Hooper has taken a vow or something that he will only shoot from outside box. Was really impressed with Hooper yesterday. Not only for his goal, but his work rate also. First few games he was very static. But yesterday he was clearly running his socks off. 2/15
The Hooper- Murray combo is working well. You can also include Rahul in this. As he also have a good understanding with both. Rahul should probably be bit less selfish and make decision according to situations. Sahal needs to improve his understanding with those two. 3/15
Sahal's set piece delivery has improved a bit. But still his final 3rd is lacking. But he is maintaining consistency in his work rate and defensive duties. Vicente and Juande is doing a good job in midfield. But I feel we maybe lacking a steel there. 4/15
Sandeep has improved his delivery into the box. Yes some went array. But most of them were really good. And he was as usual brilliant in one- one defending until he was switched as an LB. Jeakson also is performing well as a CB. Jessel can improve his delivery into the box. 5/15
We were playing highline in defense from start. And continue to play that after we got the second goal. The forwards and Midfielders dropped a bit. But the highline of Defense stayed the same. Which marcelino exploited for their first goal. 6/15
Costa should be the one covering our Indian defenders. But he was nowhere near. His positioning is wrong most of the time. Reacted badly after the decisions starting go against us. Hew was supposed to be captain. He lost it, should have been sent off. 7/15
The last ATKMB goal I would say was Kibu's fault. Never should have changed Sandeep from RB to LB. Yes Manvir was having the best out of Jessel. Then as a LB either Nishu or Meitei should have come. I know he kind of gambled with Prashanth. But it didn't work out. 8/15
It was evident that we lost bit of steam in the second half especially after the second goal. Players were tired. The schedule did take a toll. The players did gave everything. Kibu should have subbed few off. But with the circumstances, sympathize with him on why he didn't. 9/15
Now there is a thing called Momentum in football. It swings from one team to other in 90 minutes. They made the subs and that led to some shift. But the major one was given by our dearest Ref. From 55 min onwards, look at every 50-50 decisions. That was some performance. 10/15
Both Hooper incident and Sumit Rati incident is soft. For me, not a pen. But these issues comes when you give almost similar incident as a pen that shifts the entire momentum of the match. We lost the game then and there itself. Look at how they protested that decision. 11/15
They kind of give up after that decision. That time we missed a leader on the pitch. Someone who would have told those players that the decisions are going against us, but it doesn't matter we are going to win this nevertheless. That's what we need to add into this team. 12/15
I don't like going on about the ref decisions. Bcoz understand that its a very hard job and mistakes will happen. Said we didn't have luck when the Hooper goal wasn't given. But yesterday's game was so bad. That's all i will say on this matter. 13/15
Looking forward we cannot blame the players or coaching staff for this defeat. They gave their all. Yes we have defensive lapses. That needs fixing. But in hindsight whatever we did. We are losing that game. So move on. We are not making the play offs. Just play without pressure.
This was the most disappointing thread I had to put out this season. Bcoz all other defeats, we were not a good enough team to get a point or a win. This is still stinging. Wont probably reply to any comments as am trying to get this out of my system. We go again. 15/15
