With the IT industry's forced shift to WFH due to Covid , the biggest demand of the sector is getting clarity on WFH norms for SEZs from the Budget. @nasscom has been pressing for it for long. Lets see if it comes through. Track #BudgetWithET for more @EconomicTimes
Industry also wants clarifications on GST exemptions since they want to avoid litigation later
Another big demand is to include spending by companies on facilitating WFH for employees such as on broadband and furniture etc under reimbursements so that they get tax exemptions.
As more & more companies look to transition to a hybrid model of working, such rejig in salary structures are necessary @nasscom #BudgetwithET
