im watching a destiny debate rn where he talks to a lady, and she's like "so if someone breaks into your barn, that's not attached to your house, to steal a horse or st, do you have a right to kill them" and he says "yes i do. i just hold personal property in such high regard"
the only reason i bring this up is like, remember when i said destiny has a clear moral attachment to personal property that clearly transcends any utilitarian claim, and people were like, nooooooo could not be.

this is my fav destiny debate by FAR. cause the whole time the lady is just like, intensely reasonable. like "wait so you think, just because they're stealing your stuff, they're forfeiting their right to life. like beyond self defense concerns" and he's like HELL ya, yes
(ive only watched the first 24 mins so far tho, ill let u know if he just absolutely 180s. but like, does destiny say he's wrong about stuff? i feel like no way that's gonna happen. im p pumped tho, to see how this goes)

i unironically dont know how to convince someone that you shouldn't kill someone for stealing your treasured walk-man (even after brandishing your weapon). im not even saying this as a dunk. i was just so ill prepared for what would seem to me like, generally agreeable
ok one last thing and im out. could SOMEONE at SOME point ask destiny if he thinks you should hold a gun to your bosses head if he's not paying you overtime, and shoot em if they dont pay it? im just really hoping his answer is based
