When you grow up "IRL" vs "Extremely online"(forums kids)you tend to want to have genuine conversations more often, and it is so fucking hard to be genuine online. It is even harder to stop trying to be genuine.
got caught up caring how I was "being perceived" today & lost 3hrs.
I have never been the best at disengaging from out-of-class reactions to stuff I do. I don't understand the compulsion to critique or rally against the things you don't like when there are probably things you WOULD like if you were listening to those things instead.
People do not come up to you in person and air grievances like it's a YouTube channel and If they did I might understand the reactions online being what they are.

I think creators should paywall the bulk of their catalogs, let the $ be feedback. Fame isn't = success, at all.
Now that I know a few people who make great money independent of their youtube or anything because they have supporters, not just 'viewers', I'm also trying not to jump the gun and disassociate from everyone and just push paid content to a few like a door-to-door salesman.
I fucking hate how most people socialize online and what the internet + covid have done to muh society.

The social part of it is gone and it is all system now. Twitter users are news cycle fuel and voter demographics for elites that dont care what you say about them online lol
I am going to watch some more jojos now- not to make content out of it (which I will) but because literally the only thing that I SHOULD care about are the people I love who love me- and @itsmintsalad loves me the most so everything I do is an excuse to talk to/hang with her ❤
I am trying to remind myself every day that money, online fame, and all that has got no bearing on the real world- or as I put it in our new album, SKIP THE HATE,
"baseless criticisms seem pretty empty in comparison,
To compliments from people you respect in the same air as them,
Fuck the reception, the audience, and news crews,
Never been a fan of opinions, keep those to you dudes" https://vizierandthegoldenwitch.bandcamp.com/track/skip-the-hate
"That only thing we all have in common is We all know someone that has died, and we are all going to die"
