These sorts of hottakes are terrible:
1) pregnancy and giving birth still carries enormous risk for women, irrespective of our own healthcare practice (eg breech birth, post partum hemorrhage, ectopic pregnancy, sepsis...the list goes on) https://twitter.com/FitFounder/status/1355530287355195396

2) congenital conditions exist and these, again, occur irrespective of people's own individual healthcare pracfice. Denying healthcare to a population is ableist as it denies providing care to those born with disabilities.
3) universal healthcare means people get seen earlier & when conditions are easier (and cheaper!) to treat. This results in a healthier overall popn who are able to more effectively manage their health conditions and stay healthy.
4) many health conditions are the result of living with external conditions beyond a person's control, esp when financial means are limited eg damp housing, air pollution, food swamps & food deserts, insufficient sick leave...
I could go on but I'm bored now
in short; accidents happen, congenital & progressive illnesses happen, birthing babies is risky, external factors exist beyond our individual control. The OP's shitty sexist ableist take needs to get in the trash; free healthcare for all!!
