on october 10th, 2000, an ace was born. and his name is liu yangyang (刘扬扬). yangyang is the main rapper, main dancer, and sub-vocalist of wayv. he is also in nct u!! and as i stated previously, he is QUITE the ace.. keep scrolling!!
to start, yangyang's rapping skills are insane!! in 2020 alone, he rapped in chinese, english, AND korean. here's leonidas, a self written song composed by both yangyang and kun!!
yangyang is also a fantastic dancer!! he has choreographed his dance on playv, was in a freestyle with lucas and hendery, and is amazing in the group choreos!! here is his choreography to my heart by christopher!!
as i said earlier, he is also a sub vocalist!! he featured in a song by IMLAY called asteroid, where he truly got to show off his amazing vocals!! and he's doing all this as a sub vocal!! here is asteroid!!
now that you got to learn about his positions, you can learn more about him!! first of all, he has the most lovable personality!! according to wayv, he is one of the best listeners!! he also is so caring and always shows his love to the fans!!
one way of showing his love towards us is always sending bubbles out!! at least once a day, he makes sure that he sends one out, and because of my time zone, it's a great way to start my day!! keep scrolling :)
on top of all of yangyang's skills and talents, he is quite smart!! he knows 5 languages (mandarin, english, korean, german, and a little spanish!) he can also play the violin, and can play basketball and soccer!!
wow, you are still reading?? well, you should know that yangyang practically had no skills when he first joined sm! he couldn't rap or sing well, and clapped for the dance portion! but due to his dedication and effort, he got to debut in wayv!!
he really had a dream about performing on stage while under anesthesia-
yangyang is also so hard-working!! even in mark's award ceremony, he mentioned how hardworking he was during the nct 2020 project, and how the name of his award (beyond your imagination) speaks for itself!!
